AI Video Generator from Photo

Prompt-only clips cost 10–15 credits and come with sound; clips with your photos cost 30–40.

What a prompt makes
Both clips below came straight from the prompt next to them, with fictional people and no editing. Copy a prompt, change the people or the place, and make it yours.

Two friends in their twenties laugh and dance together in warm light rain on a narrow cobblestone street strung with warm bulbs, reflections shimmering on the wet stones, a slow spin, hands free. Slow dolly forward at eye level, shallow depth of field, 35mm film look, 16:9.

A woman in a flowing mustard-yellow dress slow-dances alone in light warm rain on a quiet rooftop at golden hour, city skyline hazy behind her, raindrops glowing in the low sun, face turned up to the sky. Slow handheld camera circling her at chest height, 35mm film look, 9:16.
How it works
How to use the AI video generator from photo
- Step 1
Describe the scene
Write who is in it, where it happens, the light and how the camera moves. Or tap one of the ready-made prompts, including the Raindance scenes.
- Step 2
Add your photo (optional)
Add one or two photos to put real faces in the video. The tool crops each photo to the face and hair, so a clear, front-facing picture works best.
- Step 3
Pick the format
Choose 9:16 for TikTok and Reels, 4:3 for the Raindance music video look, or 16:9 for YouTube, and 6 or 8 seconds.
- Step 4
Generate and post
The cost in credits is shown before you start. Download the 720p MP4, add your song in TikTok or CapCut, and post.
Prompt only or with your photos?
| Prompt only | Prompt and photos | |
|---|---|---|
| Who is in it | Fictional people you describe | The faces in your 1–2 photos |
| Sound | Ambient sound to match the scene | Silent, add music later |
| 6 seconds | 10 credits | 30 credits |
| 8 seconds | 15 credits | 40 credits |
| Best for | B-roll, moods, scene ideas | Putting yourself or a friend in the shot |
Adding a photo is the way to appear in the video yourself; prompt-only clips are cheaper and are great for building a whole music video from several short scenes. Both come out as 720p MP4 files without a watermark when you pay with credits.
An AI music video generator for short edits
Most people use this as an AI music video generator: they write three or four short scenes that fit their song, generate them one by one, and cut them together in CapCut or TikTok with the track on top. A few things make the clips feel like one music video rather than random shots:
- Keep the light the same across scenes, for example “golden hour” or “warm evening rain”.
- Keep the camera calm: “slow push-in” or “slow handheld” cuts together better than fast moves.
- Use the same aspect ratio for every clip, 9:16 for TikTok or 4:3 for the classic music video frame.
- Leave the music out of the prompt. You add the real song in the edit, from a licensed sound library.
Make a custom Raindance AI video
The Raindance AI templates recreate the exact look of the trend and swap your face into a finished clip. If you want your own variation, such as the pier in the rain, a close-up verse or the two of you on a rooftop, write it here instead: tap one of the Raindance prompts above and change the details. All of our scene prompts are also on the Raindance AI prompts page, and the full walkthrough for posting is in how to make a Raindance AI video.
How to write a prompt that works
- Who: age range, hair and one or two clothing details. “A woman in her twenties with curly hair and a yellow dress” is enough.
- Where: one clear place, for example a pier, a rooftop or a beach at dusk.
- Light: “low warm sun from the side” reads better than just “sunset”.
- Action: one simple movement, such as singing to each other or a slow dance.
- Camera: one move, slow, from a clear height.
What you can’t make
The generator blocks prompts and photos of real celebrities and public figures, anyone under 18, sexual or nude content and graphic violence. Only use photos of people who agreed to be in the video. If the video engine refuses a prompt, your credits come back automatically. The full rules are in our terms.
FAQ
AI video questions
Can I make an AI video from a photo?
Yes. Add one or two photos together with a prompt and the AI video generator from photo mode puts those faces into the scene you describe. With photos a clip costs 30 credits for 6 seconds or 40 for 8 seconds.
Is this AI video generator free?
There is no free generation. A prompt-only clip costs 10 credits for 6 seconds or 15 for 8 seconds, and your first credit pack is half price ($4.95 for 100 credits).
How long does it take?
Usually two to five minutes. Clips with photos take a little longer than prompt-only clips.
Which aspect ratio should I pick for TikTok?
Pick 9:16 for a full-screen TikTok, Reels or Shorts video. Pick 4:3 if you want the framed music video look of the Raindance trend.
Do the videos have sound?
Prompt-only clips come with ambient sound that matches the scene, such as rain or waves. Clips with photos are silent. Either way, add your music in TikTok or CapCut.
Can I use it as an AI music video generator?
Yes. Describe a music video shot, generate a few clips, then put them together with your song in CapCut or TikTok. The clips do not include songs, so you add the track yourself from a licensed library.
Can I make videos of celebrities?
No. Prompts and photos of celebrities, public figures and minors are blocked, as is sexual or violent content. Describe fictional people or use photos of people who agreed.
Can I make a custom Raindance AI video here?
Yes. Tap one of the Raindance prompts, such as Pier at Sunset or Pier in the Rain, change the people, the place or the light, and add your photos. For the exact look of the trend, the Raindance templates on the home page swap you into a finished clip.
What happens if a video fails?
The credits are returned to your balance automatically, including when the video engine refuses a prompt.
