How to use these prompts
- Fill in the people in the first-frame image prompt (age, hair, outfit) and generate a still in an image model at 4:3 or 16:9.
- Give that still to an image-to-video model with the video prompt.
- Generate a few takes, keep the best, then add the song in TikTok or CapCut.
Prompting gets the scene right but rarely keeps a real face consistent. To appear in the video yourself, use the template version: upload your photo and the person in the template becomes you.

Adapt a Raindance AI prompt to your people
Each Raindance AI prompt above has placeholders in square brackets. Replace them with short, concrete descriptions: age range, hair, one or two clothing items and a colour. “Woman in her late twenties, curly shoulder-length hair, white linen shirt” works better than a long list of adjectives. Keep both people in the same prompt so the model lights them the same way, and keep the scene part of the prompt unchanged; it is what makes the clip read as the Raindance look.
- Couple: keep the pier prompt as it is and add “leaning in, sharing a laugh” to the action.
- Best friends: swap “sing to each other” for “sing along together, one arm around the other”.
- Solo: use The Orange Room prompt, or the pier prompt with one person and “sings straight to the camera”.
What to leave out of the prompt
Do not name the song or the artists. Video models either ignore it or try to imitate real people, which is exactly what you do not want. Avoid “sunset” on its own (you get an orange sky and dark faces), “cinematic drone shot” (the trend is shot at eye level), and asking for lyrics or text on screen.
Prompt tips for the Raindance look
- Frame: ask for 4:3, or crop a 16:9 result to 4:3. The trend lives in that frame.
- Light: “low warm sun from the side” beats “sunset”, which often turns into an orange sky with dark faces.
- Camera: one continuous shot, “very slow push-in”. Fast moves break the music video feel.
- Audio: ask for ambient sound only and add the song later; generated singing will clash with the real track.
- People: describe fictional people. Do not prompt for the artists or anyone who has not agreed.
